“Using my photography, i create my own world where there are no oil spills, no strip shopping malls and no cars, no factory farms. I wander over the landscape. a place that is strangely anchored to a mystical birthplace. it is rich and full. of the past and the present. of the the east and the west. dreams and the unconscious. rough and soft. but magical. scary at times. and wonderful. where horses talk, where if you concentrate hard enough you can levitate, and then you can sip some exotic root tea with a shaman. where children really are the wisest, and a woman may turn into a wolf. making loud guttural noises are often the only means of communication. a world where nature breaks through the concrete and always triumphs. the breeze always blows lightly and the sun is always setting. » Nasha Lina.
