Rougier Michael : photographer

Japanese Youth In Revolt, 1964 (7)Born in England, Michael’s family was evacuated to relatives in Vancouver and then moved to Victoria where he attended Qualicum Beach Boys’ School and continued on to Victoria College at Craigdarrock Castle. He was hired by the Montreal Standard newspaper and soon after by Life Magazine where he led an exciting and adventurous career as a staff photographer for 24 years.
